Introduction

Rotary kiln belongs to building material equipment, and it can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln according to different materials.
 
In the cement production line, the rotary kiln can be used for burning the cement clinker. Then it is called clinker rotary kiln or rotary calciner kiln. The rotary kiln is one of the important machines in the cement production. In addition, it can also be used for calcining clay, ceramics or haycite.

Lime rotary kiln plays an important role in the lime production line and it is mainly used for heating the limestone with high temperature to make it produce chemical reaction. For this reason, it is also called limestone rotary kiln.

Then using the rotary kiln to calcine such materials to increase the magnetism, the materials are conducive to further magnetic separation. For this reason it can also be mineral rotary kiln.

Brief introduction to rotary kiln

Lime kiln, also known as lime rotary kiln or lime pit, belongs to rotary kiln; it is main equipment to calcine active lime, composed of cylinder body, support device, bearing device with hydraulic gear wheel, transmission device, lubrication device and sealing device, with simple structure, reliable operation and convenient automatic control.

Performance characteristics of horizontal  kiln

The horizontal kiln has advanced structure; it adopts reliable combined-type scales seal on both ends of the machine, so that the air leakage coefficient is less than 10%; kiln lining uses composite refractory, reducing radiation heat loss; in addition, horizontal lime kiln makes full use of waste heat, which can preheat secondary air into the kiln to 700 ℃ or above, saving energy greatly.

Working principle of rotary kiln

Pulverized coal produces heat in the furnace, then the heat is conducted to materials through gas or radiation; at the same time, kiln body keeps turning according to the design of slope and speed, and raw materials also periodically roll forward in the stove so that they can be sent to discharging end from feeding end.

1. Supporting device apply rolling bearing ( few with sliding bearing) to simple the bearing structure to slow down the kiln power consumption and it also improve the maintenance and inspection conditions.
2. Catch wheel: including two kinds mechanical wheel and hydraulic pressure
3. Gears: single or double. Control the rotating speed by buncher, DE machine and frequency variable motor. Be reliable, energy-saving, and efficient.
4. Cylinder type bolster: lower bolster has three types: fixed, zoom and floating. The structure is simple, replacement is convenient and won’t hurt cylinder.
5. Sealing equipment: there are many kinds for choice according to kiln models, including air cylinder edge sealing, spring edge sealing, and graphite block sealing and combination for above. The feather is adaptive for cylinder rotating and swing. And sealing effect is very good.
6. Kiln head hood: including stationary type and flexible type.
7. Transmission device apply speed adjustable motor with big speed adjustable range, stable operation, easy to maintenance advantages. Our Rotary Kiln has slow disk kiln structure, which is composed by Diesel engine, gearbox, etc. It could continue to operate when electric stops, its operation is very flexible and convenient and easy for the kiln maintenance and inspection.
